| If magic weekend has to move next year due to the planed expansion of eastlands wear would we like the event to be staged?
I really think it is a shame as I do think it has found it's home in Manchester.
Ideas?
Newcastle st James park
Sunderland stadium of light
Coventry Rico arena
Derby pride park

| it needs to be at a venue that is central to all fans coming from Both sides of the Pennines..Newcastle and Sunderland are about as good as Edinburgh and Cardiff....too far away for half the fans.....
Needs to hold at least 36k as that was Saturdays turnout

St James 62,000
Stadium of light 59,000
Pride park 33,500
Rico arena 32,500
Maybe the last to are slightly to small but then again it would be good to see it packed out with a good atmosphere.
Also thought maybe Liverpool but the area around anfield is all housing so no room for fan park and all that gubings.

| Wherever it ends up they can't take it too far from the heartlands IMO. My guess would be Elland Road.

Elland road would be too small if you consider if the event is held in a city that has a super league club Leeds would most proberly take 20,000 supporters.

Would that be a bad thing?
40,000 sell out on Leeds day and play the BIG fixtures the other day, eg Leeds v Wigan on Sunday with Cats v London and Widnes v Salford, Saturday Saints v Wire, Hull v Hull kr Cas v Wakey and Bradford v Huddersfield
That would create a surge for tickets imo with demand outstripping supply.

| Wasn't Ireland being muted as a possible location by the RFL one time? Such a shame we have to move it as the Etihad is the perfect location and has found its home. Tough decision for the RFL. I think it will be held in the midlands though.
