I couldn't say whether his 4th and final attempt went in or wide, it was 50/50, but he had enough chances before that and botched every single one.

Only way to resolve that is with some proper line drawing technology. You can't send that upstairs as the video ref has the same parallax errors.

Pretty much every decision in the last 10 minutes went to Saints. Saints player gets up to play the ball but throws a punch instead, creating a melee, pen to Saints. Saints lose the ball in front of the posts, there's a hand in from Hudds like there is in 95% of plays, zero ball security from Saints, pen to Saints.

Utterly digraceful decision by Bent'ham, how the feck can he say with absolute clarity that that is not a successful kick? From behind that is clearly between the posts, takes all of 20 seconds to see that it is.

As a neutral I was disgusted. He robbed Huddersfield. I can't see the point in watching or playing a game where refs have such influence over the running and result of a match. The Ferres sending off (which I agreed with) came off the back of a series of penalties against Huddersfield - at least one of which was completely wrong. So that was down to the ref too. He should be dropped until the end of the season.

I have no problems with mistakes being made i have a problem with a ref who uses the VR constantly looking at poiints being scored and then does not when he should have done.

What about the penalty to Jones when he pushed McGilvray. A penalty to Huddresfield maybe to Saints no way ( and that started the passage of play where they had 5 penalties and then Ferres sent off)
