| Should be a very interesting event with Eden Park sold out for both days. Looking forward to Shaun Johnson and Sam Tomkins being on the same side with all those open spaces. Premier Sports have come good with pretty much full live coverage of the event.
Anyone else doing an all-nighter and watching it all? Have many people cancelled their PS subscription after they pulled the plug on the Championship

Unlike you I will watch this entire event with great interest. I expect it to be a highlight of 2014.
Thus far, it’s been a raging success. The streets of Auckland are littered with people in rugby league
attire. Rugby union, despite the impending start of the Super 15 season, has been forced to share column inches with its bitter rival in the major newspapers.
As even a notorious cynic like Gutterfax will agree, NRL players have been modern-day pied pipers, drawing large crowds to their public appearances. Thousands packed the square in the heart of the city yesterday to catch a glimpse of the players.
The tournament has already paid its way. A multi-million-dollar profit is expected, justifying the blind faith of promoters and founders David Higgins and Dean Lonergan. Hearty congratulations to them.
Auckland Nines is an event that no European rugby league fan can afford to miss.

| Knights in the first game will have Michael Dobson in the team.
They are second favourites for the title behind the Warriors and have named the strongest side available to them.
Kick off soon.
Players to watch will be young Jake Mamo and Chanel Mataútia - try scoring freaks from the lower grades.

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |
|
| Premier do not seem to be showing much of the second day. Starts over two hours late and finishes almost two hours before the final????
Unless the Sky guide has the wrong times?

They are showing NHL which clashes with most of the 2nd day. All the games from Saturday will be shown on delay on Sunday.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Doesn't look very sold out.
Watching a couple of hours and recording the rest. Fingers crossed this will become a tradition and grow as the RU 7s did.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

| I know it's the NRL 9's but I'd love to see a couple of SL sides in there in the years to come. Still, gonna do an all nighter - I'm loving this first game! Sam could tear it up later too, if he gets a good start. There's gonna be a big X on his back mind.
Sharkies shakin up the so called favourites for a minute there but with so much space it's always in the balance.
