The NRL has just released a new DVD on Sam Burgess, He is the only NRL player with a current DVD devoted to him. This is a great honour,
www.ezydvd.com.au/DVD/nrl-slammi ... dp/6145674
Unfortunately it has a region 4 specific coding. That means, unless you have a DVD player that plays region 4 disks (multi-region players can be found at speciality electronics shops in London and perhaps Manchester and Leeds) you can't watch it in Britain.
For those who want a player with universal capabilities, with Blu-ray as well as standard DVD, look at this from the Australian company Bing Lee:
www.binglee.com.au/sony-bdps1100 ... ytm-player
Click on "Manufacturers' Specs" bar.
$99 is a pittance to pay for a universal (world capable) Blu-ray and DVD player. I don't know if Bing Lee has an export capability, but I will buy one of these players when I visit Australia soon.

I do not know the answer to that.
But if not, it is worth buying a universal (all region) DVD player, if not a universal Blu-ray player, for the ability to then buy NRL DVDs at will. The NRL has a series of "Essentials" DVDs for each NRL club, which has 5-6 of their best games of the past 20-30 years. Plus you can get a copy of the Grand Finals, including collectors editions which, based on the current one for Sydney Roosters, have the grand final plus preliminary finals, plus best games of the regular rounds, plus a highlights disk!
However multi region DVD or Blu-ray players have to be available in either Manchester or Leeds at certain stores, because of the huge Asian immigrant populations, who want to buy and play disks from their old countries.

If you don't consider interesting a DVD about Sam Burgess, nor the fact that it was produced by the NRL, then don't bother sharing your obnoxious feelings of petty resentment with the normal rugby league fans on this thread.

| Quite interesting just watching SKYs advert for 2014 ,it show Olivier Elima venting his frustration, but then doesnt show SL in the ' credits '
Are we losing our importance with the Murdoch empire?, have we pi553d them off with the WC?

| Sam Burgess is rated one of the top 10 players in the NRL by most independent judges.
It is still an honour that he is the first to be designated for an NRL "individual player" DVD in the new DVD era (The NRL dumped its whole file of previously released DVDs and launched a new series in 2012). Probably because of the unusual personal history of being English and having the three brothers playing with him he stands out as a unique personality in Australia.

| This film is online for free so why are you attempting to flog completely unnecessary universal DVD players from the other side of the world?

Check the sequence of my contribution.
I didn't know that the Sam Burgess video was available in pirated form online when I first started to inform people of their DVD player options. But then I pointed out that the NRL has lots of interesting DVDs available (which are not online) but which are region restricted, which is a reason to buy universal players if anyone wants to buy the DVDs.
And no, I am not working for Bing Lee, nor any other electronics outlet. I just happen to enjoy my special collection of videos from many different parts of the world, and wanted to share the information with other potential collectors. Why do some people always suspect an ulterior selfish material motive? Pathologically cynical mentality?

It's not the DVD nor the fact that the NRL that made me reply in such a manner, it's you and your condescending, patronising, annoying ways.
Do you proof read what you type? Are you socially retarded? You are a world class t!t JC and you bore me.
For some reason unknown you seem to think your word is something worth valuing. I for one have never heard of you outside of this site and can't remember your playing/coaching career being stupendous so I would rather make judgements for myself rather than be preached at incessantly by a no mark.
As said it is available on YouTube, you tube. Rather spend the vast amount of money on an R3 DVD player and the single DVD to play on it on something more worthwhile, like my family.
Bore off.
