Premier sports have scored a winner getting this bloke in. He is in a different league to Eddie & Stevo. Actually enjoyed the commentary for a change.

Couldn't agree more. If only we had that standard of commentary every week in SL. Or even something half as good.

Voss and Noble were very good together. Even when the games are on BBC, it's Premier Sports all the way for me.

I agree. He's excellent, his enthusiasm, knowledge and love for the game shows through his commentary. Lucky Aussies!

Or not so lucky Aussies since Channel 9 sacked him the year before last. He does the Warriors games for Sky NZ now I think.

Away from commentary he's outstanding as well. The Sunday Roast was excellent when he hosted it and, childish though the Footy Show is, I can spend hours being mindlessly entertained by youtube clips of 'Stuff You May have Missed' from when he used to do it

He has brought an added dimension to the Premier coverage which has really helped to make the TV watching side of it come to life so far. Brilliant.

The situation is that, by all accounts, Hadley is a massive bully and a scumbag, while also being good friends with the Channel 9 boss. The end result being Voss was effectively pushed out of the organisation because of Hadley.

Excellent ' commentary ' tonight, but that was the point ,no in depth analysis , just what was happening and a sense of humour and enthusiasm

Getting rid of Andrew Voss left Ray Hadley as the ailing Ray Warren's most likely successor on Channel 9.
