Really quite worried it's the former tbh. Tight match though, France clearly needed this warmup to get their minds focused anyway. They have a very tough group. |

France were pants in the last World Cup in 2008 as well... finished last! Every team with a high contingent of SL-based players got belted back then. Only Ireland gave a reasonable account of themselves.
I'm rather hoping home advantage will swing things in favour of the SL-based players against the NRL-based ones this time around. We shall see.
