| Hard to say when you see some players a lot more than others, so I will go for someone from my own club and put Simon Grix out there.

| I would say McShane at Leeds.I admit i have only ever seen him play on Sky but everytime he has a blinder. For some reason he seems very unpopular on the Leeds forum.Think he would be a starter in just about every other SL club.Maybe thats a reflection on the strength of Leeds or the Weakness of all the other clubs but i would have him in a heartbeat at Salford.
Still only 23.Is he OOC this year.

| Carl Ablett. Big, Strong, runs good lines, has great hands for a forward, has a good offload, is good in defence, can fill in with distinction at centre yet seems to be completely unappreciated outside Leeds fans.
Can't agree with Delany being underrated. Over-rated if anything in my opinion, poor centre that got moved in to the 2nd row and made a good fist of it, works hard and will run all day but that is about it

I'd agree with that. I used to think Ablett was just a big lump second row filling in at centre. I've seen enough to know that I'd love to have him in the centre at Saints. A key member of the Leeds championship winning side who gets insufficient recognition outside Headingley.

| Richard Whiting - the complete utility player. Would do a job for ANY of the top teams and even England. Yes he lacks pace, but makes up for it in many other ways. Admired by supporters of all teams

| Whiting used to be but he's not a secret anymore, he's a terrific player and rated highly by many.
One player I'd go for from my club is Harrison Hansen. When he's on top form he's a fantastic player but doesn't seem to get much recognition.
Somebody like Kyle Amor is another but I'd guess he'll get more recognition when he moves to Saints.

| Simon Grix is underrated, even by his own club in my opinion. Should be a regular in the back row, instead of plugging gaps, he's too good to be doing that bit part work. Same story with Whiting. Both would be shining lights in the back row if they played their consistently.
I also think Jodie Broughton is underrated, will show his worth at Huddersfield next year. I personally rate Craig Huby, Craig Kopzack and Nick Scruton who I believe don't get enough credit.

I'd agree with this, more & more people are now realising how good a player he actually is.

| see I agree with the assessment of Ablett, but I think the failure to recognise his quality has dropped away. Having been a pick to start at 2nd row in 2 championship-winning teams, and put in a number of great performances in high-profile games (including last year's grand final) I think he's getting the recognition he deserves.
McShane I disagree with, he has some great games (e.g. away at Catalans) alongside some truly terrible ones. If he can toughen up his defence and become more consistent in knocking out good performances, he'll get the recognition. The problem is that as of next year we're trying to fit Sinfield, Burrow, McGuire, Sutcliffe & Ward into three half-back roles, meaning Sinfield ends up at hooker and McShane has a much bigger displacement task than he otherwise would have.
As for Delaney being overrated, completely disagree. He was an average centre, he's a very good and hard running 2nd row who usually plays the full 80 and is 100% effort.
