| If I was a Salford fan, not sure how I would feel with this bloke, all I hear is KouCASH's name everywhere. Is it good publicity for the club or is it one man getting a major ego trip. Really hope it works out but the guy needs to pull the reins in and get working hard as all the publicity is about him and not really about the club.
He may be trying to raise the profile of the club around the world with his antics, but at this rate he will become the new Max Clifford or Dave Whelen who are on the TV more than there clients and club.

| Don't need to worry about my own club our sugar Daddy has put his money run the club and left it to the team. As I said hope it works but lots of empty promises as yet. Any news on the 6 signings??

| Can't stand the bloke. His constant stamping of feet if he doesn't get his way with the RFL is becoming abhorrant. He should have been brought to task after his comment regarding other clubs breaking the salary cap. I hope he gets done for tapping players up as well. Vile A hole of a man.

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try

| Yet another thread about us, Koukash obviously has people rattled/worried!!!
Who'd have thought little old Salford could drum up this much bitterness from other Super League fans, keep it coming I say

| there's something not quite right about the whole thing imo. has shades of the david lloyd era at hull fc and we know how that ended up. fair play he 'saved' salford but i worry about the long term. should at least be interesting and give them some much needed publicity

| He is brash, confident and business savy, he is the type of figure the sport has been looking for, for years. He speaks his mind, and if he doesn't like something, he will say so. This rattles a lot of cages with the 'traditional' supporters who want to keep the game in the dark ages. We need more people like him involved with the sport. People with ambition. 100% spot on. He's been a breath of fresh air and I hope (and expect) he'll go on to do great things for Salford.
The three most important areas for RL to progress in are Salford / Manchester, London and France.

| Although I can't stand the word being used in response to something, it's the only thing I can think to say in response to other teams' fans constantly moaning about him:
Obsessed
He doesn't print the stories, the media do. As he's a bit of a character, they've been giving him more coverage.
Some of the bitter comments I've read on here and Twitter, etc over the last couple of months have been embarrassing.

| How often do I read rugby league fans on here bemoaning the fact that the sport's dead, there's no money in the game, the game can't get any publicity.
Along comes Dr Koukash and saves a Super League club from certain oblivion with a major cash injection, gets plenty of PR for his new club & the game in general and has ambitions to turn the perennial strugglers into contenders/winners.
Lo & behold, right on cue fans re-appear on here to moan about him and describe him as "a vile hole of a man" and to laugh at his ambition.
Will all the other multi-millionaires who want to subject themselves to this level of gratitude from fans of our sport please form an orderly queue at Red Hall please.

Why? What is so special about Salford or London?
Both are RL deserts and will never grow attendances above 2K or so.

'Abhorrent' he was called earlier in the thread (I'd save words like that for events in Syria) and a Widnes fan on twitter recently said if he could kill one person and get away with it, it would be Koukash. Hopefully, Hemmings & co will bring stuff like this up next time he's telling us about the great rugby league family, HA!

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

Does he not have several businesses that had gone to the wall?
