| That's great news, even though it's dragged on.
Well done to P.S & roll on the NRL season.
Does this mean Sky won't be showing the G.F this season?

Hopefully, as they have lost the rights to NRL Fulltime to PS. Forgot to mention PS will also be showing the Anzac Test

| Fantastic news!
Also quick question for anyone currently subscribing to PS - do they automatically renew your annual subsciption or will I have to subscribe again?
I think I subscribed around this time last year but haven't received any correspondence from them asking me to renew etc.

| Ok, here we go.......
Premier sports have a minimum contract term of 2 months and if you call them to subscibe they will charge you £10 one off connection fee, However if you subscibe online its only £5, they have either direct debit or credit card to pay. They will keep taking money from you until you call them to cancel the channel and its a 30 day notice period, I did all this last year when the rugby finished.
Now here is some good news and how long this lasts i dont know, After scouring the net i found something that has just worked for me, Subscibe online vie the premier sports website and use the Promotion code NHL ( hockey i think it is) This gives you a 2 month deal for £9.99 with no connection charge, So all you will pay is £9.99 and you get it to try for 2 months, as you will already be connected if you decide to continue just call them up and tell them and there will be no connection fee as already connected.
Thats my little tip of the day and if you do it today you can watch the Mighty Fax play the Bulldogs at 7.30 tonight.

The minimum contract is 2 months, it was just cheaper for you to pay a 12 month one off payment, In the small print even if you have not paid they will bill you for the time you have had premier sports connected. Personally i would just do it monthly as its easier to cancel. Half way through the rugby season last year they did some football deal and if you quoted a code you got 1 years subsciption for £45.
Hope this helps

| While this is great news for NRL fans in the UK. I can't help think that moving the Grandfinal and Origins is a backward step for sheer numbers for the Marquee games.
One bonus is we wont have SKY's irritating talking heads ruining 9's excellent build up to the marquee matches. Might be time to re-subscribe

| Sadly I'm on Virgin so can't get the TV package.
But, rather impressively IMO, they have what looks to be a cracking online stream package for the same price. All the games, 7 day catch up for £9.99. Even works on iPads and the like apparently.
Even better for TV subs, this online facility is part of your subscription.
They broadcast the Carnegie Floodlit 9s online last year which was decent enough, hopefully this will be slightly improved though.

| Premier Sports last season averaged 5 NRL games per weekend. When Sky had the rights they probably at best showed a couple very late at night.
I subscribe to Premier to watch NRL and I resented the fact that Sky had cherry-picked Origin and the Grand Final.
I'm extremely pleased that Premier will show all Aussie games this year. Along with their excellent Championship coverage its the only channel a Super League supporter needs. After all I see the real thing every couple of weeks (well London anyway!)

When my annual subscription came up last october they sent me an email a week before and then they just automatically renewed it using my card details they already had.
The best thing about the new NRL deal is every game from every round is to be shown with at least 6 live every week and the rest delayed.

| Are the bookmaking sites showing every game for free again?
If so, why would anyone pay?

The news release on Premier Sports website rlhttps://www.premiersports.tv/index/rl (Click on Rugby League then NRL) states "No free viewing on streaming or betting sites."

Thanks for this. I'm not sure of the exact date that I subscribed last year, I just know it was around this time of year for obvious reasons.
Last time I checked I could still view the channel, and they had not taken any payment from my bank account. No email yet either!
