Great stuff. Better late then never, although i don't know how much this will do to alleviate the Northern stereotype.

Why should we want it too. Tetleys is a fine Northern Beer, and a product I am as proud to see promoted as RL itself.

Don't be ashamed to be northern - leave that to the Southern quislings like you know who.

Before the usual suspects chirp up wishing it was the London Pride Challenge Cup, these days Tetley's is brewed by a Danish global company in Northampton!

We need a Danish team in SL, it's the future.

Carlsberg -Tetleys are a hug huge company and a very well known brand, just what RL needs.

What will they call it in france? i remember leeds wearing a shirt with 'Thirsty' instead of Tetley's when they sponsored them.

You seem to argue against yourself. You often argue, rightly in my opinion, that Rugby League is too tightly concentrated in one area. So I am confused as to why you are so annoyed when a company from that area wishes to promote itself in that area through sponsorship of RL? Of course companies from that area are going to be interested and amongst the front runners for sponsorship.
It's like taking a trip to Amsterdam and being furious at all the people taking drugs.

Tetley is brewed in Wolverhampton these days at the Marsdons brewery so our non-heartlands compatriots can rejoice.
