Thoughts?

Totally dominant Wire performance...Wigan looked inept at best.

We've played badly since Leuluai's injury, but still been winning due to the standard of other teams. Against teams playing for the big occasion (Bradford, Leeds) and the only other genuinely good side in the league (Warrington), we've come up short. Seriously need to improve.

Classy performance from Warrington.

Noticed Ganson asked the video ref for advice 2-3 times, I thought they could only rule on tries & 40/20s?

Warrington superb, but Wigan being extremely poor made it easier for them. Still, Wire on that form will be very hard to beat.

Shame really, had hoped to see both teams on form, would have been a better game.

Still a long way to go and the pies will be the team to beat when players return.

Biggest thing for them though is that Leuluai seems such a big miss and with finch leaving aswell and questions still to be answered wether matty smith can cut it at top level,a couple of quality halves will need to be found from somewhere which wont be easy.

As much as i admire o'loughlin as a player,he is not a playmaking general and looks much better working in tandem and complimenting other halves.

Wigan were extremely poor for one reason only: Warrington did not let them play. That's down to Wire's excellent performance.

Shut down Tomkins and Wigan have zero flair.

Perfect game plan executed well by us but we should have scored 50+
Wane looks a tit again.

Quote: Asgardian13 "Wigan were extremely poor for one reason only
Wigan's knock-ons, forward passes and other unforced errors were more than enough to help Wire win.

Warrington were superb but Wigan denied themselves too much possession to ever be in the game. That, and Warrington's brilliant rushing defence.

No question who was the better team, but Wigan were very, very poor even without taking Warrington into account.

very strong display by warrington, helped by errors and penalties but still can't help but feel wire still have more in them to come

I think anyone who cannot grasp that Warrington are "Wire", not "Wires", should have to type "Warrington Wolves" in full (possibly to include the full address and postcode), whenever referring to them.

Was a very dominant display by Warrington. I still fancy Wigan to win the league with LeuLai back.

Did anyone else see Mcllorum's "cannonball" tackle in the 1st half. I only saw it once but it looked dodgy.

Dominant Wire performance. We were poor, Warrington didn't have to be that good tbh. Was hoping for a better match, hopefully we'll have that in the GF icon_biggrin.gif

A little odd that their fans chant "Wires, Wires" then?

wires being the plural in regards to the players as a cumulative they would be wires whereas the team as a singular would be wire.

either or works
