Heard Bailey's been banned for pushing Silverwood in the match at the weekend. Personally I think the guy has a major attitude problem which is why it confuses the hell out of me he's in the England Elite squad.
I was hoping his contract at Leeds wouldn't have been renewed, then we would have seen what other clubs think of Bailey, I highly doubt he'd get in any of the other top 6 teams.

what a load of tosh!! he hardly did what Gareth Hock did or what Paolo Di Canio
Silverwood got in his way, whats he suppose to do? plough straight into him? 3 matches is totally unjustified considering Hock only got 5 for his much more serious 'ref contact' and Chris Bridge got 1 for elbowing.
Theyve made an example of him end of, Webbs was 'worse' in my eyes

We all know Bailey's attitude on the pitch, I don't doubt he can be a good player (when he doesnt bottle it).
My point was I doubt any big club would take Bailey on with how we plays RL, the way he was when Leeds beat Saints in the final is probably the best point in this. Only Bailey was acting like an idiot, I think Wilkin and Graham both came out when he was selected for England and said they would have a problem playing with him.

You're taking character references from renowned Grand Final crybaby Jon Wilkin now? Mind, I suppose at least this time he's complained about something that a person has done, rather than the weather or cameras being mounted in dressing rooms like the previous two defeats to Leeds.
If you seriously think anyone who plays SL in the front row is a "bottler" you're watching entirely the wrong game. Bailey gives and takes his fair share of lumps and bumps.

Just coz he's a prop doesn't make him instantly Hard.
Players like Sculthorpe, Radford and a load of others have come to blows with him on the field because he goes for cheap shots. Not seen the bloke ever boss another prop, the Saints game in 2009 when he hid from Graham all game was another example.

oh you mean when he joined in with celebrating with Brett Delaney? so wasnt just Bailey CELEBRATING another grand final win.
As for the saints game where you claim he went hiding was this the game when Graham put a cheap shot in coming in as 3rd man? Yup thought so

Wasn't cheap, was completely legal shot. He was held up and Graham went for the ribs, not the head.
What was cheap was his shot on Fa'asvalu where he fore-armed him in the face. Thats what started that whole game off down that route.
Whilst we're on the subject we'll bring up his cheap shot on Brown as well, after high-shotting him he then picks him up and lamps him one....

I'm all for physical props, but I've no time for cheap shots. I'm not even a Saints fan I've played RL for years and had countless hits (mainly because I'm too slow to dodge them), but there's a difference between getting smashed and get cheap shotted in the face. Bailey has been cheap shotting players throughout his career, even the McNamara admits he gets under everyones skin.... |

I dont see how I manipulated the last video anyway? Take a look, highshot, drags him up then punches him?
All for being proved wrong and somone showing me he's a top quality prop, but at least show some decent banter about it or even an example of two......

Appart from the fact that Kevin Brown twice in that video fakes injury to win a penalty then jumps straight up after the first is given. Then gets up ready to start swinging when bailey picks him up and there's clearly nothing wrong with him. Seconds after being spread eagled and trying to look knocked out. Take the blinkers off and get over it. |

Ah, another bash Bailey thread. You obviously didn't intend to discuss maturely what he was actually banned for, which in most peoples opinions was a very soft way to get banned. Silverwood stood in the Leeds defensive line as they tried to drift across and Bailey who was frantically trying to slide pushed Silverwood out the way as all players would who were in a scramble. But don't let facts get in the way of your anti bailey agenda.
