I can understand what Kong was attempting to do but he should have calmed down a little and just rested one or two.

THEY RESTED WHO EXACTLY? 3 real first teamers. we had our best prop, top try scorer and our first choice stand off missing. id say we beat them fair and square.

Widnes deserved it, we didn't. I'm not sure Wane's selection is entirely to blame though. The players he picked came out of the blocks and blitzed their opposition in the first 10 minutes of each half. That's a squad selection that should have won their game.

Any team that lets a side like Widnes score 37 points against them should hang their heads in shame.

Other than the 2 ten minute spells at the start of both halves, I'd say we were the better side. Obviously can't say for 100% certain but it would've been a great game for the neutrals - it was certainly a great game for Widnes.

What was the scoring sequence ? 37-36 is just the result . The scoring sequence will tell more of the tale . Am I correct in thinking it wasn't 0-36 and Widnes made a astonishing fightback to finish 37-36 .

Just to add a little reality - Widnes minus their best halfback, their top try scorer, two of their highest profile signings and their regular goal kicker.

Wigan were beaten. End of. Doesnt matter a jot who they didnt play - we didnt play anything like our best team either.
