Just out of interest, does anyone know when the RFL are announcing the second new Championship one team for 2013 as they were planning to announce one a month. Seems a while since Northampton were announced?

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing

Have you ever heard of the term ' Best laid plans of men and mice ' ?
What the RFL announce one day , alters the next , especially when it comes to the Championships , we're still waiting for the official formatt of a competition we are playing in this season  |

They were probably going to announce Bristol next but the bid has split over whether to play in Bristol or Gloucester. Why they don't prioritise a more established amateur side like Coventry Bears I don't know. They're keeping announcing Hemel til last in case they don't have a suitable ground in place I believe.

I can't see how Hemel can have a stand built in time. Shame they can't share with Berkhamsted FC. Only 5 mins down the road, same borough, 2500 capacity. Or Hemel FC!
