Huddersfield have named an all BRITISH and IRISH 19 for the game against Wakefield on sunday.
This means that the 17 will be all British and Irish will this be a first for SL

Bearing in mind that the Wakefield side will be well stacked with young English lads the game will probably have the least number of imports on the field in any Super League game. Wakefield will probably only have Korki and Hickey in the 17. If those two are on the bench at the same time we'll have a full 26 GBs.

For what it is worth the Leigh RL 1982 league winning squad did not contain a single overseas player - as far as I know this hasn't happened since!
Anyway back on topic - well done Hudds. I think there are some top young British players coming through there -I am a huge fan of Cudjoe and am disappointed he isn't playing tonight.

In your 19 you have Korki, Hickey, Smith, Morrison,Tony and Henderson all non Fed trained. so atleast 4 will feature, still not bad. |

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

What happened to Joel Monaghan and Michael, Matt King, Brett Hodgson, Anderson? The first 4 IMO are 4 of your 6 best players so I couldnt imagine them not playing. |

it would be more impressive if the giants overseas contingent was missing because they were not as good as there english counterparts, rather than tired from playing for another team
