| Steveo Made a great comment on air today about the "other Sport" not dealing with forward passes as well as league. This had to be a joke right?
Superleague has been absolutly shocking this year for forward passes. Refs seem to be ignoring passes to allow try scoring opertunities. When are the RFL going to crack down on this? It's making a mockery of the game. What the hell are the touch judges there for?

| Another ridiculous decision. Another inept set of officials. Rugby League is all about innovating, so how about we become the first sport to do away with onfield officials completely? The touch judge officially responsible for 'missing' that should be struck off. How every single person in the whole ground can spot it but him is beyond me. Or perhaps he did see it fine and just isn't allowed to do anything about it?

| Its the inconsistency that bugs me, some teams get away with forwards all the time and then the same referees will pull perfectly good passes as forward for others.

| I thought the ref had a terrific game but saints were let back into the game by a Sam Tomkins knoc-on which didn't happen and got a dodgy pen.....
As ever in RL or any sport for that matter, taking your chances wins games. We got battered in the forwards.

| All in all, touch judges are useless and are just there now to wave the little flag around and try look important.
The refs ignore them OR they miss every forward pass they can't tell the ref (or again, are ignored) when the defence are offside.
And as seen in the Dewsbury game yesterday, some don't even know when the ball goes between the posts it's a conversion.

Is this the same ref/touch judge that said Paul Deacon knocked on off his face?

Wouldn't you have had a penalty if this was the case? I'm sure it was a scrum, with a Saints head and feed?

No it was a scrum + S Tomkins was behind Deacon anyway.
Don't hear you complaining about that.

And to be fair that is only debatable call in the whole game you can pick on. It didn't cause us to score either as it happened in the middle of the field.
The pass you scored your first try off was just ridiculous. You saw it at the time, all your players did, your coach even apparently called it forward at the time on sky. If it were borderline I wouldn't have minded, but when it comes out at an angle like that and is so blatantly forward it's frustrating.
It's about time the RFL invest in some competent officials to run the lines. Instead of a group of geeks who are doing the job because they are the only people to put their hand up to do it, they should have a group of professional officials doing the job properly.

Dunno, I'm not paid to referee SL matches. I've always had accidental offside down as a scrum, but I might be wrong. Maybe there is a bit of small print in the rules about it hitting pink head guards as well?

There is no debate about this what so ever. The same goes for Wigans forward pass. The play from the scrum led to you first try to get back in the game, you wouldn't have been in that situation without the ludicrous call made by the ref.
So lets straighten this out, you're not ed off at the officials for being poor, you're ed off because they called it against St Helens.
