| It's their attack thats not good enough, it hasn't been good enough for years.
The rest of their game is solid.
They scored 12 points against a 12 man Wigan team last week and they thought they were a top 4 team again, now they have gone back to Agar out.

| Hull FC should be up there with the big boys, their ground is the best in the game, their fan base is superb, however, once again, it looks like another season is ebbing away.
As an outsider looking in, there appears to be a fundamental problem with the BOD, it’s they who employ the Coach & players.
Some of their recruitment baffles me. Why go for a player that’s near the end of a glittering career, done it all, with the injuries finally catching up with him, when I’m sure they could have picked up a class Scrum Half from either SL or the NRL for similar money?
They should be looking at the Wigan model, superb local production line, with class quota players.
It must be very frustrating watching a club with so much potential, failing so often.
But, there is a silver lining, at least they don’t have the tribulations of being a Wakey fan.

| I tried opening the eyes of a few blinkered Hull FC trolls on our forum as to how they should be furious with their teams performance against us (Wigan) last week. To lose a game to a side that is down to 12 men (with one man missing off the bench in Deacon) is absolutely awful. Especially their defence where we were able to still work an overlap!

| They should just get some bottle and sack Agar. All this nonsense about British coaches being good for the game should be forgotten. The Australians do rugby league better than we do and we should try to copy their methods and learn from them. I think the RFL should set up a scheme where any young British coaches/retiring players who have the potential to be a head coach are sent to an NRL club for experience, paid for by the RFL.
Given their superb facilities, strong financial setup and strong youth production line, Hull should be perennial challengers at the top. After briefly threatening to become a top club with a couple of Cup Final appearances and a Grand Final, they have fallen well below their potential in recent seasons.
Give Maguire or Brown that squad and they would be in the top 2/3.

completely agree, stick a competent coach in charge and we are top 6 at least.
Agar has had 3 years, and has completely overhauled his squad, yet the players still play the same brand of drab lifeless rugby.
the scenes at the hooter at the KC last night were some of the oddest I had witnessed in rugby. Wakefield scored a good try right at the end, to which the Hull fans rose in their thousands and applauded, before launching into a crescendo of boos and 'Agar Out' chants. Gates have already fallen this season, and it won't take much more for him to go IMO.

I'm amazed he has lasted this long.
How long has he got left on his contract?

What are his chances of getting a contract extension?
He seems to be doing a pretty good job
