| Just wondered who the non biased fans think will win this game on Friday. Looks like the Tomkins twins will have to sit this one out as well as a few injured.

| I said Hudds by 4 before the Tomkins were banned. Now I say Hudds by 10. The 2 best teams in the league by far IMO both with great defences (Im sure ill have some Cas fans with something to say) and the ability to score points. Brown is the best coach closely followed by Maguire and I think this game will be a cracker.

| Wire's defence is too flimsy at the mo IMO to be classed in the same league.

| Hudds for me. Their pack are harder working, bigger and stronger IMO and they stick with the game plan that works for them. 20-25 minutes of hard graft up the middle then you'll hear the name Brough for the first time. (unless Wigan play like Bradford did last wekend.....then he'll be kicking his first conversion inside 2 minutes).

| I'd argue that Wigan's long list of players missing this week puts more pressure on Huddersfield to get a result.
Our strength in depth and phenomenal away record under Maguire makes me think we could just squeeze a win though.

| Our awat record is amazing. We have not lost a game in the league away from home since Bradford pretty much a year ago. We were written off going to Hull and Leeds in the league last year. People were saying we wouldn't beat Hudds and MM last year. People said we would lose in the play-offs against Leeds..... we put in a poor performance last weekend and maguire will be wanting a big performance. A rather big rivalry has grown between the teams. I think this will be the best game of Super League 10.
If Hudds win then they well a truly book their place as part of a top 5 teams.

| Looks a cracker, fancy Huddersfield by 8. Hope there's a big crowd on to see such a high quality game.

Friday night and Sky coverage usually keeps a lot of our armchair/watch it in the pub, supporters away. A 10,000 plus crowd depends on how many Wiggoon fans make the trip over. I'm expecting around 8/9,000 Fartowners there, I'd be surprised/delighted if more than that many "fans" turned up to give the lads the support they deserve. If only we could win a bit of silver to get the "floating supporters" to attend on a regular basis. It's a very difficult to get some of the fans back on board after all the years in the wilderness with unwanted mergers etc etc. A fair few fans deserted us in the dark days to watch winning teams like the Bulls and then Lids and a fair few of these whom I know are slowly coming round and attending a few games and following us in spirit, no doubt if we can start winning things they'll desert their adopted teams and come back and be regular supporters again. Our support is gradually improving year on year, and a cup this season could be the boost we need to get the regular 5 figure crowds the chairman, players and staff deserve.

I think the Pies will take around 1500. Quite good travellers and Huddersfield isn't that far to drive or hard to get to by train.
I'd say Huddersfield, The Pies and Warrington are far superior to the rest this year.

| Even with the Tomkins' I would have gone with Hudds, without them I would be suprised to see Wigan win.
It was obvious from our game against them on Sunday that they don't like physical teams that are willing to play rough and get in their faces and if anything Hudds are even more physical than Hull are.

You are having a Giraffe arent you.
Official club statistics show that fri night games 40% of Season Ticket holders do not attend
Out of our group of 10. 4 cannot attend this game so some personal experience backs it up
If our ST sales are 5000 then that means that 2000 Giants fans will not be attending.
If Wigan bring 1500 then i reckon the attendance will be about 7000 to 7500. Tops.
I know of a lot of regular fans who have to travel who cannot attend fri night fixtures, with it being on Sky they will not attend.
Friday night games are disastrous for the Giants attendances regardless of whether they are on Sky or not.
