| This was the train that went via Newport, Seven Tunnel Junction, Patchway, Filton and Bristol Temple Meads.
I found a wallet on the train when getting off at Temple Meads, and handed it in to one of the First Great Western Train Dispatchers, at approx 2220 hrs.

| OK mate, I lost mine and only found out at Newport Station so didn't know if I'd lost it in the ground, at Cardiff or on the train. It's black and had a couple of pics of my kids in it. Don't know if you opened it but I could pm you with some details that would ensure it is mine. Cards are cancelled so there's only the pics I'm really concerned about. Been in touch with train companies, police and Millenium itself but this is the 1st positive thing I've heard upto now.
Hope it is mine and if it is, I'll buy you loads of beer when Saints play whichever club you support this season.

| Well I'm back on and still don't have my wallet in my posesion. Rail company blame the post office and post office blame first great western. And guess what they did with the money that was in it, they fooking banked it and if I want it back, I have to pick it up in person from one of their stations the nearest one being Cheltenham. There was £41.08 and it will cost a lot more than that to go there to pick it up.
These companies really need to start to look after their customers, I didn't lose the thing deliberately but the way some of their staff speak to you, you would think you'd committed a crime.
Upto now it must have cost me £20 in phone calls to India. Only the last 1 spoke good English and she was very helpful but the for rest, I could have been speaking Norwegian. I now just wait to get put through to Customer Relations but they just won't accept any responsibility at all. Nobody explained to me that the cash gets taken out, which is a good security point to be fair but then you have a chitty sent to you which you have to hand in to claim it back. Chitty got put in the wallet which is still in the post.
I should have just gone down to Bristol to pick everything up but the post office offer a secure Special Delivery which sounds great until the rail staff forget to get the item scanned so there is no way of tracking it. Apparently it got posted on 17th Feb, it's now 8th March and still no sign.
