This is the e-mail sent to my mrs' works as she works for Wigan and Leigh College which is part of the LSV complex and they are encouraged to promote events.
Leigh Sports Village will host the 1st Test of the England Rugby League Academy series against the touring Australian Schoolboys. The match will take place this Saturday, 04 December, and kicks off at 2.00pm.
The England Academy squad will feature a large number of players from Super League clubs, including seven academy players from 2010 Engage Super League champions Wigan Warriors, five from 2010 Challenge Cup winners Warrington Wolves, two from Castleford Tigers, including England Academy captain Adam Milner, two from Bradford Bulls along with a sole representative from Hull FC, Harlequins RL, St Helens and Leeds Rhinos. The Australia side is also likely to feature National Rugby League and International stars of the future.
The match will be a cash entry event, with spectators needing to turn up and pay on the turnstiles. Entry to the match costs £3 for adults and £2 for concessions and turnstiles will open from 1.00pm.
