Once the playoffs start, the BBC has a nationwide showing of highlights of all the play off games.

Id rather they mute the crowd...after all who wants to listen to Saints fans swearing...

Another balls-up from the BBC showing the play off highlights with one game still to play why could they not show the highlights at 9/10 pm when all games are over and they can annouce when are where the teams are playing.

I'd like the actually show some proper highlights, rather than just the tries. All they'd need to do is cut down on the inane and pretty worthless banter twixt Harry and his guests.

I've long been a fan of the show (apart from Leeds boy Gration) for a while now. I do think improvements can be made, e.g. more action less chatter (not just tries), turn the bloody fans up, cheap credits etc. On the whole its a good package, but put on at stupid times.

But, having watched the ITV4 coverage of the opening round of RU fixtures I'm leaning more towards the argument that many on here hold that we would be better off moving away from the BBC. On the whole the ITV4 is much, much better than SLS, it looks and feels better, it covers all the action and is on at a reasonable, prime time slot.
