| They have as much chance as anyone at this time of the year. They have started promisingly but it remains to be seen if there is any depth to their squad or whether this initial run is just them rising to the occasion and getting away with it because no one knows anything about a lot of their players.
There are Leeds, Wigan, Warrington, Hull, Hull KR, Saints, Catalans, Wakefield, Huddersfield and Cas who are competing with them for the playoffs. I can see Catalans and Cas struggling but even if they do Crusaders have an enormous task ahead of them to reach the 8.

| i think any team can reach the play-offs this year, i think it will be one of those seasons where everyone beats everyone if ya get what i mean - Crusaders have recruited well and got an experienced coaching team in so i wouldnt be surprised to see them there !

| as ever, injuries will be crucial to who gets there, if Whitt gets injured they're screwed, like hull without longy, the pies without tompkins, wakey without brough, etc, etc
But i dont think they will make the 8 (it'd be great if they did), the slow starters will start to come good, but i dont think they'll be bottom either.

| hope so but doubt it.
lack of experience as a team will count in the end.
if they finish mid table that would be brilliant.

| they are organised, but seem to have the same play, witt kicking to the wingers, shut witt down and they don't have many other options, something that we(hull fc) didn't do. maybe a season to early for the play offs, 10th or 11th at best

| Can't see it myself but they will not finish bottom. I like the look of their side considering they've had such little time to gel and get to know one another.

| If they keep Witt on the field, they have a chance.

in the end we have a squad of 24 which is ok early doors but unless we recruit some more we will fade. micheal witt seems to have impressed everyone but of course if he gets injured...to be honest 9th will be a very decent outside bet. witt for the goldthorpe medal and elliot kear for rookie of the year isnt too bad a bet though.

| If they could pull off 2-3 top signings mid season yes, if not, no. One things for sure, Salford are spoon certainties now!

| Last year salford looked terrible in the opening 6 weeks or so then really pulled it together. We'll see, there's certainly weaker teams but most can pull off a result on the day

| I dont think anyone should get too carried away by the result on Sunday. It was a 2 point win against a team that played poorly but still had the possession and territory to win comfortably. Hope the Crusaders can do well this year but they are currently not top 8 material.

And make the playoffs

| Anywhere out of the bottom 2 would be a good improvement, 9th or 10th would be a spectacular improvement. Top 8 might be a step too far this season.
