| The local news has just been talking about the possibility of having a statue of a Rugby League player at Wembley (or the fact that one MP wants it to happen). If it did happen who would you like to see?

| would think it would have to be someone who is well known in the game that the non rugby league supporting public would recognise

On thread drift:
[quote="tb":24qn1m99]Tough. Conversations develop. It's their nature.[/quote:24qn1m99]
Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”
[i:24qn1m99]There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair
with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back![/i:24qn1m99]

With due respect to all Wiganers I dont think Billy Boston's name would be recognised outside RL world although it would be a good choice.
I think it has to be a name synonymous with Wembley so Alex Murphy would be a good choice being carried on a stretcher and winking!!!!

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

He’s probably the most prolific British Rugby League player they is and well deserved. He’s even been awarded by the Queen in the process for his services to the game. All the best British rugby league players were born in Leeds anyways. If you had an all time Leeds born XI v the rest of Britain we’d absolutely smash you
