| Joined Catalans on a 3 year deal, massive loss for Melbourne. I think they've got Todd Lowrie from the Eels so he'll play at 13 but the amount of work Johnson does is massive and that's a blow for them. He did still have 2 years left on his contract. Top signing for Catalans though especially if they can keep hold of Greg Bird aswell but they have released Jason Ryles who's going to the Roosters.
Also Penrith have signed Travis Burns from the Cowboys, poor signing for them IMO, he's cr@p and the Cowboys are better of without him. I dont think he'll get a game ahead of Walsh and Graham for the Panthers.

| Best signing by any SL club this season. Surprised he's been let go.

| Aswell as Dallas Johnson Catalans have also signed Setaimata Sa from the Roosters on a two year contract as part of the deal that will see Jason Ryles go the other way.
He's had plenty of off-field problems but if he sorts that out he'll be another great signing for Catalans, i bet they dont keep hold of Greg Bird though which will be a blow as he was there best player IMO. Titans want him if he doesn't get locked up.

| If Les Cats keep hold of Bird, they'll have a pretty formidable pack and will be a force to be reckoned with.

| He's a tackling machine but not especially great with the ball.

| I don't think he's all that much to be honest. An honest hardworker in defence but he doesn't hit hard very often and has less to offer in attack than almost everyone else in the NRL.

I bet he'll be a massive loss to Melbourne next season, the amount of work he does is massive and alot of the time it goes unnoticed because of the likes of Slater and Inglis' attacking brilliance. It's okay been great in attack but if you cant defend you'll never win a thing and he's one of the very best in defence IMO.

He's basically a passenger in attack. Hit hitups are weak as . He spends more time going backwards than the Italian Army in WWII.
As for his defence, he'll make a million tackles a game, which is great, but he'll hurt no one. There is no sting. If you're a forward running at the line, you won't yourself if Dallas Johnson is in front of you.
They'll miss him, but I don't think they'll miss him as much as you think.

We'll have to wait and see. They have signed Todd Lowrie from the Eels who'll replace Johnson and with Bellamy's record he'll probably end up an Origin player.

| Lowrie was in great form for half of 2009, I fully expect him to do well with Melbourne.
John Kite is a good signing too. The Storm should get Russell Packer down there, he's got massive potential. I don't have a whole lot of confidence in the Warriors, as good as it would be for Packer to stay with them and excel.

| The Storm have signed quite a few players this season.
Todd Lowrie, John Kite, Chase Stanley, Luke MacDougal, Atelea Vea.
Who do you think will replace Chambers and Turner on the right?
And what's happened to Anthony Quinn, is he still there?

| Quinn is still there, he had a neck injury. Don't know if he's right yet, that was about a month before the Finals.
Stanley had a lot of wraps when he came onto the scene, but hasn't done much since. They seemed undecided as to what position he should play at the Dragons, under both Brown and Bennett.
Pup MacDougal is potentially a good signing. I reckon Bellamy can get his attitude right, but his injuries will probably still plague him.
Don't know anything about Vea, but they've signed pretty well to me.
