| After watching the game yesterday it seems to me that the England players have a lack of aggression. Playing for you country should be one of the proudest moments of your life. Every run should be fully committed and every tackle should be aiming to hurt the opposition. At the moment we seem content to run into a tackle and hope for a quick play the ball and when defending we are happy to stop the runner and that's it. Now I don't buy all this English players are crap business,I think we are a bit weak in the backs and the coach isn't great but that's no excuse for not playing with heart. If you can't get fired up playing against Aussies or the French then you shouldn't be playing rugby league.

You people are difficult to please. One minute Leeds are dirty, the next we are not aggressive enough. What do we have to do to be loved?

Thats exactly what NZ have shown tonite, and they will come at us hard, the likes of Morley, Peacock and Burgess, the big men, will be targeted and will be hit hard, the Aussies could do the same, both matches could be ferocious affairs.

| I think they showed plenty of aggression in the first ten minutes, but as the French side dominated them, they went back into their shell.

You was watching a different game than me then, I didn't see any aggression. We just didn't look like we wanted it in the same way as what aus and nz did last night.

In the England - France game i cant recall one big hit, compared to last nite where every tackle was bone crunching even the winger on winger tackling. The England pack have really got to stand up and be counted and show the same aggression and passion as there opponents, but its easier said than done. What surprised me as well about last nights game is that the game only flared up once, unbelievable really after the amount of big hits and rough tackles that were going in. All i can see England doing is getting one big hit and someone like Peacock will start throwing a couple because he wont like the challenge and get sin- binned.

One of the best performances from an English team in recent years was Leeds against Melbourne. Leeds' forwards flew into the ockers like scousers into the dole queue, JJB in particular was brutal and aggressive and was battering them all over the park.
If we can replicate that aggression and passion on Saturday at least we'll lose looking a bit more up for it. The Aussies are beatable - NZ showed that last night by running good angles and taking them on - looking for a big hit on every forward drive, and getting in their faces.
Peacock, Morley, Burgess, Graham - this is your chance to live up to your names.

Well theres a good question, how come JJB or even Diskin didnt get anywhere near the squad, after Leeds's season i thought they would have been definates.

NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_9857.jpg |

| Someone should tell Gallen it's not a good idea to rattle the NZ pack cage!
TBH a fight on about 20mins and 60mins would be great for us! Our forwards need to take it to the soft Aussie pack and a bit of biff might just get them up a notch.
