are espn using the same satellite feed that setanta used that was pretty poor (in my area anyway). basically what im saying is, is the reception quality good and consistent?

True. The annoying thing is that over here in Perth (aussie rules country, if anything) we only get Foxtel coverage for the finals which is delayed. Terrestrial over East has the live games, but over here there's not enough demand.
During the regular season though Foxtel does at least show almost every game, and with the two magazine shows each week, I'm not complaining, even though spending 5 hours on a plane going to watch Parramatta is a bit longer than when I used to walk to the HJ in wire.
Heading to my first NRL grand Final this year. Come on the eels!! |

Cappy the demand thing is a Ch9 furphy. In the 90's they showed League live in WA. When they show League live now it rates higher that their alternative programming, yet they still refuse to show it. Ch9 are working hard to be friends with AFL ready for the next deal and sadly it is RL fans in Vic, SA and WA that are paying the price. |
