Quote I don't have figures but it gets a good audience, there's no doubt about that.
Mr Brady said the NRL had a large following in the UK - its biggest TV market outside of Australia - and felt fans' frustration.
"I don't have figures but it gets a good audience, there's no doubt about that.
"They'll be frustrated, it's unfortunate for them."
Setanta also had rights to regular NRL season matches. Mr Brady would not speculate on whether those rights would be re-sold to another UK broadcaster.
"That's going to take a little time to work out."'"
[iIF[/i I'm right in thinking that the NRL will have to pay back Setanta money for the games it didn't broadcast in the contract, then the NRL will lose money.
If the quote above me is right from Mr Brady and we are the biggest TV market outside Australia (hard for it not to be), it will only be a matter of time IMO before we get the NRL back on UK television screens again.
Maybe theres a possibility of missing out the rest of this season (I hope not) but I can't see us not having the NRL for the beginning of 2010 at latest.
