Donny should aspire to be a top six Championship club, with a thriving academy that SL clubs look to poach from. Once they have that they can start thinking about SL.
But then the Club won't get much media attention from the headline "SL? We don't need no stinking SL!", will they?

I have been told that this rule only applies to English clubs.
If someone has heard something different that they are absolutely sure is true, and can prove it to be true, then I will stand corrected.

They can let Toulouse in even if they dont qualify in the same way as an English club
English club need to qualify [ contest GF or win MRC ] but that doesn't apply to Toulouse

You are right. It is sneaky. And I am very glad that you like it, because I like it too.
I am planning to invest in a property in southern France, so I need a guarantee of at least one Super League home game in southern France each week to justify my investment.
