As a saints fan i love my club but i have always said i love the game more.

If it wasn’t for things like rugby league and football we’d still be settling scores like back in the old days that meant certain people got killed. Sport in my opinion is just controlled hatred fought between two rivals on a controlled battlefield.

I would prob say club but i do want to see lower teams to be successful and win things. Also more countries to be developin the game and one point in the far future challenging the 3 big nations.

I've said this all along and all I've got is a bagging out.

This is why the NRL are taking on players like Gareth Eliss and Sammy Burgess.

I can understand why supporters say that their club comes 1st, but there must be some fans out there that love the game 1st.

Club , or more specifically , some clubs , those that the RFL dont see as in any way valuable to the sport

Game... yes id love to see Leeds win again this year but im enjoying the fact that everyone is now competing (bar a couple).

The game is far more important.

Without the Giants i would still watch RL ( not with the same passion)

But without RL what could i watch RU.

The sport. Obviously as a Saints fan I'm a tad biased towards them, but as an example if our stadium project collapsed, I'd have no problems with them kicking us out of Super League.

I think this is the crux of the matter when it comes to the international game. We are a tribal lot.

Of course without the game there are no clubs, from that point of view I think the question is club or country? And for me it's still club.

The sport for me. I could go watching Gateshead v London Skolars and enjoy every minute. Im a Lancastrian and couldnt watch Surrey v Essex, id just get bored.

I know im probably not making any sense!!! But with League it seems different from other sports.
