| This obsession with the wrestle needs to go. Salfords focus on this area and interference either leads to the tackler conceding a penalty or being completely ineffective at marker on the next play expending more energy on trying to cut corners than playing the game.

| That shows the massive inconsistency in the refereeing in this game.
If Watts was a red so was walmsley.

Neither should have been red card.
The aggreivance comes from the fact we had to play an hour with only 12 men and ended up losing a close game whereas Saints didn't even concede a penalty, just play on!

| Thats my point, an error of judgement was made hence Watts not getting a ban. The officials cant keep making errors just to 'even it up'

| That Walmsley elbow was twice as bad as Watts'. Walmsley actually raised his arm before impact and caught the Salford player and the Salford player wasn't down by Walmsley's waist with bad tackle technique. Shocking refereeing. It was at least a bin for dangerous play. The ball carrier also has a responsibility of care to the tackler. It isn't a one way thing.

| It was shocking from Lannon but obviously it was on the back of child's decision. They was no way Child's would have given a red, if he could he would put the ball over the white wash for saints tonight.

To put it on report and not give a penalty is stupid though.

| 100% neither were penalties, and giving one shows a lack of understanding of the game and how you carry a ball in to contact.

Rubbish, Salford player got his head in the wrong place.
Should Walmsleys try have been disallowed then? He ran in exactly the same way.

| Ref got both decisions right, just unfortunate that Watts suffered.
Lannon's was a shocker, should get a few matchs, cost them any chance of winning the game, can't believe some Salfords fans clapped him off.
