I knew Richards was a good kicker but that was insane. Has there been many better DGs in super league era?

Bit of controversy in that by the sounds of it. Apparently the match commissioner has said Wellens was spotted pouring water on the ball before the kick off after the DG (according to Sky).

Is there a rule against that? I'll imagine he'll get a warning and not much more. Cheap nasty tricks, though.

Wonder if he spotted the numerous attempts to damage knee joints with the cannonball tackles or the deliberate shoulder to the head on O'Brien? But hey, call up Wello, they can ban him for that if they want.

On the drop goal. Sensational. To even think of it was remarkable, to execute so perfectly was amazing.
