Ever since the Hull KR-Wigan game a few weeks ago when he gifted Wigan the game with his errors he has been absolutely abysmal. He's always had terribly slow play the balls which pander to teams which play the game the wrong way and has a very poor rapport with the players but these are now mixed with some very average general form.

Thankfully, and rightly, he won't be getting either of the big finals this year.

Could say the same about Escare's try too. Officials have had a ropey night all round.

I agree he has been terrible in general but he is defiantly favouring saints but then again saints are on top as well.

The officials have got A LOT wrong tonight.. Not good enough for play-offs. Catalans first try, Makinson having his leg in touch in first half, turner blocking whitehead at kicks, Manu's try, Wellens academy award dive. Very poor.

Yep. Nowhere near good enough. All season refs have been letting play continue and then go to the video ref to check. Suddenly Silverwood decides to make a decision and it's wrong. Not good enough from the touch judges either.

Silverwood has ruined this game from the moment of the first Catalan try which he said was a knock on, he is a disgrace and has handed Saints this game. Feel really sorry for Catalan. This is why our crowds are going down because a game can be decided on a call from a idiot like him.
