| Bearing in mind that Wigan's home attendances this season are currently 9.95% down on last year and Huddersfield (attendances 21.04% down) fans don't exactly travel in huge numbers to away games, this cheap ticket offer makes sense... if only as an attempt to mask the underlying problems associated with falling attendances.
Addendum: Having to encourage fans to attend by offering cheap ticket deals for a fixture which could have a substantial bearing on who finishes top of the SL ladder says heaps about the current state of the game.

Ask Hull FC fans about that. I think there has only been about 2 games all season were you have had to pay full price for a game if your not a season tcicket holder with various offers and deals inc the derby

This probably explains why Hull FC's home attendances are currently only 1.97% down on last years figures. They are been fudged by regular cheap ticket deals.

| Sensible by Wigan to target a historically low attendance game with an offer to try and add a few hundred onto the gate.
Bradford were offering a similar deal for the Widnes, London and Catalan games a few months ago

Well I'm a season pass holder and the fact that the club offers these deals doesn't worry me at all, so why should it bother you.

| Would make more sense to make it available to both sets of fans though, i know a few of ours have bought them but couldnt they have done it for the North stand and done half and half ?
I would imagine there would be a better uptake from the away side as most of the home fans i presume will have already got tickets.

Is it worth putting on an offer for 1 group of 4?

| Have Huddersfield got a batch of tickets for the game yet? If so what stand are they in?
Heinz have bought the North stand for their workers so I'm guessing the Giants may be in the east anyway. Either that or your sharing with the Heinz lot.
Should be looking at about 20,000 for this one I'd have thought.
