| The NRL just don't seem to want Inglis do they? He'd go alright in Super League for a season at one of the minor clubs I suppose until he can sort out a deal in the NRL.
I heard he might play a season for Castleford to cover their outside backs, mostly playing Academy football.

Crazy situation really and I hope for GI's sake it gets sorted.
Joking aside I wouldnt have a problem with him coming here for the 2011 season until an NRL club can fid.....I mean 'restructure' their books to get him on the payroll.
I cant see him going to AFL though... by the time he learns how to play it an NRL club will be ready for him

Nice thought
Good to see the NRL clamping down on these shonky contracts too
Baz why aren't you writing for the Daily Mail? With the way you make up facts to fit your agenda you'd be their star writer.

Strangely enough the Daily Mail was my favourite paper during my time over here...
A great read and a good crossword too.
I havent made any facts up. In order to fit Greg Inglis in (and I dont mean the fact that he looks to have stacked it on a bit during the off season) Souths need to offload some of their less effective players.
Little Pommie Sam immediately sprung to mind. He did what Rusty wanted him for (Hyping him up to sell more memberships)
So maybe its time to send him home....

Burgess might have sprung to your small mind simply because you're a bigot when it comes to English RL, however, he's not one of the players mentioned in the article. He's currently considered one of the best forwards in the sport so why would Souths want rid?

Little pommie sam was hired by Russell Crowe for one reason.
To sell memberships for his club.
He was an unknown name down under. Rusty billed him as some unstoppable super hero from the northern hemisphere on an unsuspecting Aussie public in order to generate interest....and therefore sell more memberships. He is a clever guy.
But sadly Sammy was soon exposed as being yet ANOTHER pom who couldnt really cut the mustard in the NRL. No shame in that. I'm sure he was good for Leeds or Bradford or whoever he played for over here. But as we all know it takes a special type of palyer to succeed down under...and since Tommy Bishop there havent been any others.
Barry McKenzie just thinks they ought to send him home (and lose a few other of their more ineffective players too) so at least Greg Inglis (a bloke born to play for Souths in my opinion) can start doing what he does best.

Just this afternoon actually mate.
Australia v England in the 2008 RLWC from Melbourne.
I can't get enough of Billy Slaters length of the field solo effort and then Greg Inglis going over straight from the England restart without a player laying a finger on him.
Quality.

There isn't a Walkabout in Regents Park.

When?
Who by?
Evidence please.
You're entertaining at times but these repeated anti-pom posts are getting very boring.
