| Anyone know how many have been sold? I can't help but think its going to be around 20,000 each day.

| Hoping for a disaster myself as well.
Cash is tight, and some really great fixtures to tempt fans to travel 200+ miles and spend a fortune.

| No idea what the figures are, and the lack of information coming out of the RFL would suggest there's not much to be upbeat about. I haven't got the money to travel to Edinburgh, as I suspect many others who might go haven't.

| I gave up after trying to get somewhere "cheap" to stay in december.
Tried the trains most of them are on track replacement service and the last one out on Saturday is 7pm. Not much good as it ends at 9pm.

| Driving up for our match then coming straight back.
Something about Murrayfield doesn't quite work as well for me as Cardiff did. I hope if they're going to proceed with this weekend that they move it back to Cardiff or to somewhere else that is well thought out from a supporters perspective and not just somewhere to try and expand the game.

| I would be interested to know what the break even figure is for Magic, and how far below that figure the RFL would be willing to go for any other benefits the weekend brings.
The RU games at Wembley are 20,000 people short of break even, interesting to see if they will persist

| break even? Going by the figures from Cardiff (I've not seen any for the deal with Edinburgh), the sport gets half a million pounds before a single ticket is sold.

What does it cost to hire Wembley?
What crowds have Saracens been drawing for games there?

Last one got 40,000.
But its only £10 a ticket with it also being buy one get one free. Still £10 too much for me.
They had some lovely girls handing flyers out yesterday at kings cross station.

I felt the same. I am not going this year but after going to Murrayfield last year I'm not bothered to be missing it. I am sure I will go again in a few years though when circumstances allow.

Ta for that. Was just wondering how a previous poster came up with 40,000 being 20,000 short of break even.

I am, but as is often pointed out, if a few take pain for the many it will be better at the end of the day.
As discussed many times this is a closed shop SL weekend, a flop may instigate a change of direction to re engage the many.
Economy and poor fixtures will help the flop, Edinburgh folk wont turn out and non SL fans are simply not interested.
