It wasn't even close to 83,000 unless they was all in the concourse for majority of the match. Great publicity stunt tho.

I tuned in to see what the crowd looked like, doubt if 83k were there, some of the old Europe NFL crowd counting going on there I reckon.

Whether it is or isn't a sh it game isn't the issue.

The issue is that there are over 80,000 people willing to cough up their hard earned beer vouchers to go and watch 80 minutes of live rugby...and a side like London broncos struggle to get 1000 through the gate.

So who is to blame? The marketing people? The team for playing such dismal footy no one wants to come? The fact there are no big name antipodeans in the side for the expat community to be interested in going to watch?

The marketing company that sarries use is the same one who we used for the RLWC semis........it is owned by the ex CEO of harlequins and current CEO of Melbourne storm. The market these events as exactly that EVENTS and guess what? The are very ing good at it. Free tickets, empty seats, 80k or 5k.......it was a bigger crowd that the RLWC semi double header. Get over the bitterness guys......union is the bigger and more popular code!

Really GF, the crowds felt bigger before tbh, but I'm not really interested, disliked Quins then, dislike them now.
