| Feel very sorry for Lee to have the decision to end his career effectively taken out of his own hands, but rather he be well and involved in the sport he loves (and enriches; for so many fans- Warrington and Others) than suffering a career-ending injury whilst playing that 'game too many'
Good luck to him in all that he does on the coaching side from this day forward....

| As an opposition fan he's one of those players that gets under your skin because of his character but the game needs those characters and the league will be poorer for his retirement. He really has been a very special player and a massive part of Warringtons resurgence.
All the best to him in his coaching role. He certainly got in the thick of the action when Wales played Italy, he was on as much as when he played. It was good to see his passion.

Was thinking the very same. A player who got under every oppo fans skin, and loved it. Hope he goes well in a coaching career

| glad to see the little scrote retire having never been a champion. A classless little turd, not fit to lick the mud off of Sir Kevin's boots.

| He never got under my skin. Too busy admiring his skill and classy match control. He had the mark of a true great - always appearing to have time to spare on the ball.
What was that magnificent World Cup match he figured prominently in when he and the rest of the Welsh players put themselves about like their lives depended on it? I've got a picture of him performing some outrageous piece of effort and skill to turn the match.

| I read in in one of the Monday papers that Longy is skint and so is looking to resurrect his playing career, but at 37 he may be a little too young for Wire.

| Sorry to see him retire. As an opposition fan I couldn't stand him but that has no bearing on his ability, SL will be poorer without him.
