One thing it would be a dam site nearer then Toronto and if they do start with 50% Spanish that wold be good to -another reason to move to 14 super league teams with more players to fill the teams

It will be like home from home for you steph, somewhere to practice your Spanish plus the Mestalla has a better atmosphere than your club

| Holland RL have asked Toronto if they want to play at either the 11,000-capacity Sparta Stadion in Rotterdam or the NCRA Stadium in Amsterdam, which holds 6,000 fans. So nothing definite as of now.

Saints were 'well beaten' in the challenge cup final by Warrington, are you aware of this ? You could always google it to find out the score...

| Great that there is some interest in these areas but is there some kind of strategy behind this? If it’s just going to be a Denver style hit and run then what’s the point?
If there’s a strategy to continue taking games to Valencia and to build the sport in that area then great. If not then it’ll be forgotten in short order and have been a massive waste of time and money.
The same is true of Catalans trip to Barcelona. What’s the point of that game v Wigan if it’s not backed up with anything else. Wigan’s game played in London is another.
We have very limited resources in RL. I’d much rather see them focussed than this scattergun approach.

If ever something looks like it was written on the back of a fag packet, it's this! The club doesn't actually exist as yet, hasn't played a game yet they claim they'll be able to compete in League 1 in a couple of years, including 50% Spanish players and the "businessman" behind it claims "I regularly fly to England for €80 return" as an answer for who will foot the bill for visiting teams?
Ex-Pat Brits and Tourists are his target market.....it's sort of like a budget GOLD COAST TITANS and they have awful gates in a RL mad country that attracts tourists.....
Got to love the off season

In the link it states there is a multi millionaire business man who wants a club in Valencia to enter the league in a couple of years
