At tonight's game Huddersfield knocked on and the Ref let play go on a Huddersfield player got the ball ran to the try line to go over for a try and Thaler was already on the try line clapping as the player went over. Didn't know Refs could do that?

Thaler's refereeing was shocking, as was our performance on the field. A competent ref wouldn't have made much difference as to who the got the 2 points other than a slightly smaller margin of victory.

I agree the Ref was awful but the players were just as bad if not worse. We didn't look like we wanted it not at 1 bit. What about when wilshere let the ball bounce when no one was putting pressure on him and it looked like the easiest take ever

I said we were rubbish. But you have 2 tries that were clearly not so the Result would of been affected. You was offside nearly every play of the ball in the first half and made a few forward passes. The weird thing is when we were getting penalties when you kick it up the field we were only kicking i about 5-10metres up the pitch. Once we only gained 4 meters by a kick what was that about

The "clapping" was Thaler signalling it had touched a Salford player followed by him clenching his fist and raising his arm and waving it above his head to signal back to one, just happened that Hudds scored off it.

Its not hard if you have any idea about refereeing signals, happens most weeks at games

Maybe the Salford fan could watch the 2 games on sky coming up this weekend, he'll probably see the Ref "clapping" at some stage

Do you know I have heard refrees say "really good try" after a flowing movement down the field.

How strange, because the crowd would have thought it wasn't a good try and shouldn't have been allowed because there was nothing wrong with it.
