What is the capacity for Old Trafford on Saturday?
Warrington reckon they will take about 25,000 (?)
The ticket website below states "Tickets are extremely limited in the West half of the ground and currently only single seats remain in all areas other than North Stand tier 3. " - could it be a sell out?

| Full capacity is 75765 at OT, however knock out a cuple of thousand for the TV screen.
The RFL announced they only had 2000 tickets left as did Leeds, with Warrington having 4000 remaining as of yesterday afternoon

| Excellent news.
I don't think RFL have sold blockls N4401 N4402 N4403 or N4404 so that is circa 4,000?
Will mean 63,000 have been sold. Hopefully another 7K will go, and then it will look full as the 4,000 that I don't think have been sold are Tier 3

| I'd love to be optimistic, be doesn't stuff like this go round prior to every final, only for there to be large pockets of emptiness on matchday?

| Think the RL announced on Monday that they only had 7k tickets left. 2k at Leeds, 2k at the RFL and 3k at Warrington. If Warrington are down to 1k left then it looks like there is a maximum of 5k tickets available for the final.
Looks like it will be near enough a sell out.

Not really. You often get the standard ‘ticket sales are going well… get your tickets to avoid disappointment’ type press releases, but as they are dealing in actual numbers then we should expect these to be accurate. There will always be some empty seats as some buy them and don’t attend for whatever reason, but the stadium should look very good indeed on Saturday night.

| Leeds always attend in great numbers at OT, Saints being replaced by Wire will result in a great crowd and hopefully a great game - 5000 sold in WN7 due to the Hill/Higham factor

| Interesting that Challenge Cup final at Wembley always gets more people to attend than the Grand Final of the Super League.
This shows that there is a large number of people in the south of England, in and around London, who like to see a big rugby league event, but who won't travel north to Manchester. It also shows the advantage of having BBC promote a big game. It is not just the Challenge Cup attendance but also the internationals, as we saw with the 4 Nations last year when Wembley got 42,000 to watch Australia vs England (not a great crowd but much better than would have attended in the north).

No. It's the fact that the Challenge Cup Final is widely attended by fans of all clubs of all leagues as it's traditionally the big 'day out' for league fans in this country.
I've been to several at the new and old Wembley's and to one at Cardiff and I don't remember thousands of Southern or Welsh folk at them. If there's proof that I'm wrong then I'll concede though.

| Coming up from darn sarf to watch the game. Is parking in the MUFC car park easy if we arrive early enough? Or can we prebook?

Strange that they could only muster about 5,000 at home to Hull less than two ago.
