| Here are mine:
1. Saints. New coach shouldn't be a handicap to what will still be a good side
2. Wigan. Look like being a tough side with some gifted players too.
3, Hull FC. Will find the consistency that's proved elusive.
4. Wire. Much depends on their halves going well.
5. Leeds. Might scrape the play offs though really just mid table filler
6. Cas. A further step down from their glorious 2017.
7. Salford. Will continue to post some impressive results under Watson.
8. Catalans. Will continue to toss it off. M. Gausch should dig out his cleaver asap.
9. Wakey. Will be flaky and shaky.
10. TWP. Will scare the bejazus out of their backers but will survive. Just.
11. Hudds. Gearing for a better 2021 as their youngsters gain experience.
12. Hull KR. Not sure Tony Smith is the right fella for this end of the table.
GF: Saints
CC: Wigan
Promoted: Leigh

| 1-8 is wide open, as is 9 - 12, we haven't seen a pass in a SL game yet, so too early to say beyond that.
a lot will depend on what is happening behind closed doors around structure and TV deals.

| Quote: Clearwing "Here are mine
Looks to be a pretty good assessment.
I would have Wire ahead of FC and probably Huddersfield ahead of TWP, who I think will find super league a much tougher proposition than they perhaps think.
Yes, they've signed SBW but, I dont think he will be enough for the step up to SL
Positions 5-9 though could be in any order.
Leeds do look to have improved their squad and hopefully, Trinity wont see a repeat of last seasons endless injury list.
KR do look a little vulnerable though.
Success, at least in terms of league position, is all about putting a run together and should one of the "mid table" sides put a run together, just about anyone can make the play offs, just as Salford managed (spectacularly) last season.
If Catalan dont make a decent start, they too could find themselves at the wrong end of the table.
Plenty to look forward to and lets hope it's a great season.

| 1. Wigan Hastings is one of those players who can make everyone around him better.
2. St Helens New coach won't be as good as Holbrook.
3. Catalans Maloney. Like Hastings, he will make everyone else better. And he'll coach them too, so McBanana's incompetence
will be covered.
4. Cas Much depends on the Trueman/Richardson partnership.
5. Hull FC Lots of size, but they still have Radford in charge and too many players with attitude problems.
6. Warrington Not good enough in the forwards.
7. Leeds As with Warrington, forwards not good enough.
8. Huddersfield Sezer will improve them, but not enough improvement elsewhere.
9. Salford Sadly, the have been pillaged.
10. Wakefield Can't see too much improvement on last year.
11. Hull KR Signed lots of players, but they are all pretty poor.
12. Toronto Nowhere near enough depth to compete every week. Plus a points deduction.
Challenge Cup - Cas
Grand Final Winners - Wigan
Man of Steel - James Maloney.

Top 2 and bottom 2 I feel reasonably confident in predicting (but still wouldn't be surprised if I was wrong) but the rest less so. Hull and Cats in particular are hard to predict.

| 1. Saints: No ones done enough to close the 16 point gap a great deal so still comfortably the best and it’ll be more of the same. Wouldn’t be shocked if they won the treble.
2. Wigan: Better squad than last season, not convinced by Lam but Saints aside don’t see anyone close to them.
3. Hull: average coach but have a very strong squad. Jones, Ma’u and Fonua are all excellent signings and would get into pretty much every squad.
4. Warrington: They’ll get off to a terrible start, sack Price and improve enough to get 4th. Don’t see them winning anything, questionable recruitment and a poor coach will set them back. Really don’t understand how Price is still in a job, Cup win or not.
5. Leeds: Think they’ll be average but will do enough to get 5th as the rest are poor. A full season of Lui and Gale (if he stays fit) is far better than Lolohea and Myler.
6. Cas: Squad looks weak and Trueman with Richardson in the halves will be a disaster. Powell is an excellent coach though, otherwise I’d have them lower.
7. Catalans: Same as the past few seasons. Another club who’ll regret sticking with their coach because of a Cup win.
8. Salford: Will obviously struggle with the players they’ve lost and pairing of Lolohea and Brown is possibly the worst in the league. Watson is a great coach though and they’ll do alright.
9. Huddersfield: look weak on paper but Sezer will keep them clear of relegation.
10. Toronto: thin squad full of players who have struggled at Super League level before. SBW will hardly play and just be a PR signing.
11. Wakefield: Don’t see them improving.
12. Hull KR: Some of the worst recruitment I’ve ever seen from a Super League side. Awful signings all over the place to add to an already poor team. Would love to know who signed the likes of Jamie Ellis and Will Maher.
Grand Final: Saints
Challenge Cup: Hull.

| Is Price that terrible coach that's got to 3 of the 4 possible finals he could've reached? Garbage indeed. Hope we sack him and get John Kear in.

| 1: St Helens
16 points clear in 2019, it hard to see Saints being as good as they were but equally hard to see them being
worse enough for the gap between them and the pack to completely disappear.
2: Warrington: Good signings and a strong squad. Wire were the challengers to Saints before taking there eye of the ball in 2019 in a similar way Saints did in 2018. It is hard to see wire falling apart as much this year. The only worry is the fitness of key players that have been injury prone in the past.
3: Wigan: Consistent and hard working, Wigan are likely to be constant enough to be at the top end of the table.
The loss of Williams is offset by the signing of Hastings (however this may not be the improvement people believe it will be). The main difference will be starting the year with a fit squad and George Burgess.
4:Hull: Some quality signings will make going to the KC daunting in 2020. Constancy will be the key, at the start of the year due to the high turn over in players and near the end when they have lost focus in previous years.
5: Castleford: Smart signings in the off season and the likelihood they will have a number 7 playing for the majority of the season for the first time since they finished top, Cas can be a force this year. The only question is can they re-find the form of 2017 and stay fit.
<<Gap>>
6: Catalan: Likely to improve with Maloney at 6 and without some disruptive players that have left. Home form will be enough to get Cats up the table, however away form will leave them in mid-table
7: Leeds: Likely to be solid. Signing will improve them but not inspiring enough to believe in real change.
8. Toronto: Quality players will make them a force and will likely win a lot at home but on the road fixtures could cost them early on and and a thin squad could catch up with them later in the year.
9: Salford: Loss of key players and the element of surprise gone, Salford are unlikely to stand out.
10. Wakefield: A poor end to 2019, Wakefield need to re-find form quickly. Players returning from injury could get them up the table but they rely heavily on a small number of players.
11. Huddersfield: Will improve with Sezer and Goulding, however they were so bad in 2019 it is hard to see them achieve much more than safety.
12. Hull KR: Worst squad in the league. Signing of Abdul could improve them but heavy favorites to go down.
