| Some good stuff in patches from Toronto, Leutele playing Championship is a joke really. The rest of their back line is pretty average though and they are reliant on being aggressive in the middle.
Liam Hood has to be pound for pound the strongest tackler in the game.
It was cute to see Jon Wilkin getting the chance to run around fantasising about being Sean O'Loughlin.

| Toronto were very good today. Will be hard to beat this year. Thought our young squad did okay and performance was far off the standard required.
Their centre won’t be there for long, great player.
Liam Hood is one of the best tacklers I’ve seen in years.

He will until someone else wants to better the £280k a year wages he's on there.

I’d be surprised if any team ever in the championship has been willing to pay that for any player. They’ll get their money’s worth

| After today's result, played in what was actually an "on the road" location at Newcastle, we have to assume that Toronto has got promotion into Super League for 2020 sewn up.
Once that happens we have to be hoping for a serious New York team to materialise and emulate Toronto.

Because we need to lay down roots in the USA, as well as create a north American rival for Toronto. New York, as the biggest city in the USA, would be an ideal location for this project.
If that was to happen, and New York was to enter Super League with Toronto and hopefully Toulouse, by say 2022, we could then have a truly international, North Atlantic Super League that could start getting some big rich sponsors for the game -- rich sponsors for both the Super League competition and for the individual SL clubs.

New York, tolouse and Toronto in with Salford, Wakefield and Huddersfield out, would be an ideal scenario
