No real RL fan wants to see any crowd trouble. I would question though how a ‘mass brawl’ results in one arrest though.
I hope whoever was involved gets an appropriate punishment in court and is banned from all future RL events. Also hope that the 17 year old is ok.

As me and my son we’re heading away from the stadium on Friday there was a group of around 30 young Saints fans heading towards the Wigan end chanting some stuff about Wigan fans . I thought at the time they were looking for trouble .Looks like they found it .

its more a reflection of current society, every body gets so easily wound up and angry about everything, and have regressive attitudes. Is it just a coincidence that football violence reaches it zenith in the 80's when Thatcher was in power, the open mindedness and feel good factor of the mid to late 90's through to early 2000's has been replaced by hostility fear mongering and insular attitudes. |
