Well Leeds cherry picking their most productive player for their own self preservation wont have helped.

| Featherstone have been very reliant on Leeds players all year. If you add Luke Briscoe to that squad it would be 16, that’s still not enough players, and there is nothing wrong with signing players, lots of clubs have done it.

But sending a young winger on DR who is in that squad cancels out Luke Briscoe’s absence.

Should be kicked out of the league and a more suitable set up from France/Canada to take their place.
Thats what you really wanted to say

| The problem any club faces, at this stage of the season, is that they can't add to their squad, following the 'Eights' signing deadline. If that club happens to have just failed to make the Middle 8's, they need to cut their wage bill, by offloading players, in an attempt to compensate for a drop of about £500k in Sky funding. That is the unfortunate outcome for both Featherstone and Leigh, who are, ironically competing on Sunday for probable home advantage in the Championship Shield Final.
Leigh, despite their dire straits, managed to register a clutch of local amateur players, to bulk out their small remaining squad. Two of those players are in Leigh's 19 on Sunday.

| I'd like to know how an injury crisis brings the game into disrepute.

| Although done with the best intentions (to close the gap between the Championship & SL), it's this, along with the ludicrous DR system that is heavily weighted in favour of the "parent" club, that has caused this issue. Fev have relied on DR, but especially now with Leeds in the M8's, that's not quite working as planned.
Both Leigh and Fev (albeit with very different scenarios) are having to prepare for 2019 will less funding available, and it's having an adverse affect on the closing stages of the Championship season.
Having scraped into the top 4, Fax are lucky that they won't have to make any cutbacks next season, although it's unlikely that we'll see many new recruits (given we're quite likely to end up probably bottom of the M8's). However, we of course wouldn't have been in a position to be only able to field a squad of 15 players if we'd failed to make the top 4. Did I ever mention that Fax have a reserve team?

You do realise of course that both Leigh and Fev are in severe financial trouble and yet are still fulfilling the remaining meaningless fixtures for the chance to win a meaningless trophy. Sorry if that doesn't meet the standard in la-la land.

Nothing will improve. This game applauds and rewards mediocrity and then whinging why RU is quickly overtaking us.....
'Professional' is losing it's impetus in this sport quickly.

| I don't see how Feb fulfilling their fixtures is rewarding mediocrity. Bore off with your agenda now.

| To be honest I don't know why Fev even said anything.
Why not just put two guys on the bench who are injured and then not play them. No one would know.
