Do you agree that the Super League will lose either Salford or Widnes, possibly both, at the end of 2017?

Widnes have lost their key player -- Kevin "The Giraffe" Brown -- to Warrington. They have no replacement.

Silly Salford are so sad. Marwan can scream at the RFL all he likes but Salford lacks a fan base to inspire the team.

Hull KR and Toulouse will be star performers in the Championship and raring to be promoted to SL.

Nope dont agree with the Widnes and Salford statement

Also

I think Toulouse will find it a bit tougher in the Championship, they have the likes of Fev, London, Halifax and Batley to deal with, it wont be plain sailing for them plus who knows how Bradford will shape up - Going to be tough for both Toulouse and HKR

You did ask the question

How dare you not suggest my club, Wakefield Trinity, will not be out at the seasons end, have you no respect for tradition Mr Capdouze ?

They have about the same chances as Catalans imo.

Have there been any incomings at Salford? Widnes will get a new halfback in no doubt about that.

Thanks and Merry Christmas, Jean. If this is similar to your other predictions and threads, I'll now put money on my team, Salford to win the treble. With a side bet on Widnes.
With your belief in "Kevin "The Quarterback" Brown", Warrington will now be thinking they're about to do a Hull KR (especially after all your predictions of what Albert Kelly would do for HKR).

Willzay: we have improved (hopefully ... it's still pre-season) in the forwards but have room for a back/half-back.

To be fair to Brown, Widnes won 50% of the games he played in, and lost 100% of the games he missed.

I don't think any team is going to drop this season as SL has probably got the 12 strongest teams it's had in a long time. I can see tolouse doing well though and perhaps making the top 4 and even the MPG

Neither.
Hope Toulouse fall flat on their face too.
We've seen it already with Catalans, they bring absolutely nothing to Super League, and their away support is laughable.
The only winners are Catalans and the French Tourist Board.
Do we really want the same again with Toulouse or Toronto???

Not gonna say which one of them will go down but I would think that our neighbours across the river will give getting back up a bloody good game, at the expense of one of the two teams you have mentioned. In terms of Toulouse, I will agree with others and say that they will find it a lot harder in the championship, might get the middle-8s but I wouldn't be surprised if they finish 5th or 6th to be honest. London took huge strides last year and I want them to keep moving forward, might be an outside chance of getting the million pound game.

Salford should be ok, but not sure about their top 8 credentials. Widnes look vulnerable to be fair, which is a shame because they play a decent brand of rugby. Wakefield for the drop IMO.

I don't even think Wigan will make it to the MPG, they'll bin out and finish 7th in the Middle 8's. They couldn't even nil a broken Wakefield who'd given up for the season

Can very much see My team Huddersfield, Widnes, Salford and either Catalan or Wakefield being in the bottom 4 with only Hull KR the possible candidate for a return to SL.

Quote: vastman "6 2- 0
There you go again Vasty, dining out on the 62-0 as soon as a Wigan fan dare say anything remotely negative towards Wakefield. How dare they have an opinion ey.

Anyway, I hope none of the SL teams get relegated, as it'll mostly mean Hull KR promoted, which is too soon.

Who would be the most likely? Leigh will be a candidate as they're a little bit of an unknown quantity with regards to how they'll go playing SL teams for 30 weeks (although I accept they were brilliant in the Super8's last year). Salford don't seem to have done much in the off-season. Widnes will struggle without Brown, but do have the advantage of their home pitch surface (are they linked with any halfbacks?). I think they'll be the bottom three.

Wakey, Hudds, Leeds & Catalans jostling for 9th-6th in no particular order.

Wigan & Warrington top2, Saints, Hull & Cas 3rd-5th
