| After the promo code that provided a 20% discount on Challenge Cup Final tickets bought through the RFL, does anybody know any for the Grand Final or Four Nations please?
Thanks!

| I would expect some promo codes to come up for Eng v Aus. It's a big stadium to fill and I can't see many travelling to the otherside of the country on a Sunday.
There will probably be some for the double header in coventry too.

| There should be no form of discounts when the internationals are concerned. You are (supposedly) getting premium rugby league, so should be prepared to pay premium prices.

Hardly premium prices with tickets cheaper than matchday admission at Belle Vue

Yes, but if your supposedly putting on a premium rugby league event you should plan it like a premium rugby league event. Things like holding the game in London on a Saturday afternoon rather than a Sunday afternoon as that makes it far easier for people to travel to and from, especially if you want to present it as an "event". And perhaps if you are holding a double header in Coventry you might consider the timing of the games, so that its actually possible for some of your target audience to get their train home after the last match. Just those little things, that sensible people organising an event would consider.

I agree the timing of the games seems odd.
That said they have now opened part of the Upper Tier for Olympic Stadium, so sales must be decent. Had a quick scan of tickets for Coventry and there doesn't seem to be a single block sold out which isn't the best of starts, but still a few weeks to go.

The RFL often gets a lot of undue criticism, however this along with changing a kick off time a few weeks out is truly amateur.

| I recently (last week) enquired to the RFL tickets, about buying group tickets for the Huddersfield game as there are a few of us wanting tickets, needless to say i haven't heard a reply from them!
perhaps they would rather those people spend money elsewhere?

The sad thing is, they know people like us will still persist and buy the tickets regardless. Customer service is non-existent in RL.

Part of the upper tier has opened up at the Olympic Stadium, but most of the new tickets to go on sale are in the cheapest category. Over half the sections on sale are now at category 4 (the cheapest). This suggests to me that sales aren't going great.

| 21K sold for Huddersfield, so not far off a sell-out, but sales look to be less successful for Coventry & London, but they are of course bigger grounds and the games are further away.
the RFL's marketing machine has belatedly stuttered in to action we now have posters on the Tube, on buses and Radio Ad's
