| Should think so
When watching it in real time I couldn't follow their logic.
They went from saying there was no evidence it touched the hand/arm/torso for purposes of calling a try to saying it must have brushed the finger somewhere, therefore a 20 metre restart.

| Totally baffling that graham call, never know what would have happened if it had been called right, good decision to drop them, I mean how hard is it to get one thing right.

| Nowhere even close to good enough. They're professionals, they do that job regularly. A video ref decision should be right every single time.
I might mutter a bit but I'll accept mistakes or wrong decisions from on-field refs, but not from the video ref.
Unacceptable and is happening far, far too often.

| The Video referee is human and by definition prone to human error....
I've never seen the logic in having one...

But is there actually much if any space for human error in VR decisions?
They can take as long as they want. They get numerous HD, slow mo and super zoom video angles. They aren't fatigued.
They shouldn't get it wrong. Of course there are times when the ball can't be seen, which I think most reasonable agree then they have to take a "best guess". This, and the vast majority of controversial VR decisions aren't one of those situations though.
The Video Ref principle is a fantastic development in the game. It's just being terribly used by the sport.

History would suggest 'yes'...
We also have the ridiculous situation where there is a VR only at selected games each weekend and at the games where the VR is, the on-field referee is not obliged to use him...
The whole business appears very arbitrary to me...

But if their is 2 doing the job then they must get it right if not why not

| The aussy ref wasn't blameless either the video refs explain there decision that it only touched grahams leg then the kiwi kicked it out so he should have known it was a drop out aswel and could have said so.

| Amazing is't it? A mistake made like that in an international and both are dropped.
Yet if it happened in Super League, both would end up refereeing a TV match the following week.......
