| That's certainly interesting. As long as he comes back to league I don't care who it's with.

| Interesting article, I would like to see him back obviously but would say that the NRL would probably be where he goes, as someone said further up, I don't mind who he goes to as long as he comes back to league.
I think I remember him saying when he switched codes that the main reason was to play in the union world cup so the article might be right in suggesting he will switch back afterwards, maybe after this union season is over.

| If he does come back I wouldn't be surprised if it were in super league if only for one season. Firstly it's a more gentle reintroduction to RL than the NRL would be and secondly it would give him a shot at a challenge cup and SL grand final ring.

There is the small matter of a contract with Bath rugby union club.
There is an individual who, apparently, will ignore the salary cap,so it is a possibility.
How can any player resist the lure of Leigh Centurions?
It's all part of the 2 yrs plan.
It has to be more exciting playing for 'Gladiator Des' than some Aussie acting luvvie.

| Just when I thought this week couldn't get any worse, the thought of seeing Sam Burgess in a Rhinos shirt makes me sick to my stomach.
Not them, Sam. Anyone but them

| If all the NRL have already done their cap money for next year and Sam wants an immediate return to RL, i could see him doing a year in SL before a return to the NRL with Souths in 2017.
Would be an amazing coup all round for the comp., and obviously huge for the club that pulled it off.

| I doubt he'll come to SL. His main reason for going to RU was supposedly to play on the big stage. Assuming the coaching staff at England walk the plank he'll never be picked as a centre again, and will have to properly lean his trade as a forward before being considered. Given the negative publicity now, I reckon a different England coach would wait until his form absolutely forced his inclusion before picking him. That could well mean a good couple of years playing club level only.
I don't think he'll leave Bath early, but I think the odds on him returning to the NRL at some stage have increased dramatically.

[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Souths have lost Lowe, Stewart and Luke and signed Oldfield and Cook.

| I actually think if he had done well in the RU WC and won it with England I'm sure wed have had a better chance of seeing him, back the thought of being a dual code WC winner will have been hard not for him to think about as SBW treid

| Would be class if he turned up at Old Trafford. Can you imagine the PR?
I'd love him to join Leeds, it would be superb for the sport, the competition and for him. Make it so Sam, even if it is just for a year while Souths or whoever sort out their salary cap issues.
