| Based upon yesterday's performance the answer would have to be yes.
The game against Huddersfield next weekend will be decisive. If Todd Carney, Scott Dureau, John Zebolon Ta'ia and Morgan Escare are all fit, then I would imagine that Catalans will dispose of Brough dependent Huddersfield quite comfortably. Note that Catalans have been playing without centre-winger combination of Benjamin Pomeroy and Vincent Duport for several weeks now. But Mouad Yaha has been a revelation on the left wing, and Anthony Gigot has been a remarkable performer in the centre.
Catalans now has the best spine in Super League. It is up to the Catalans pack to lay the foundations for the spine's dictation of supremacy against all opponents.

| Yep they can but it will not be decided this, the next or the weekend after that.Still the super 8's to come.
And fawn away as much as you like over a decent home win against an off Wigan side, there isn't a chance in hell this Catalans side will be making OT this year.

| For all Catalans were good, Wigan were very poor
yes they can make the top 4, but its a way to go yet
that said I would rather the giants were playing someone else this weekend

| I don' t think they will make the top 4.
Leeds are pretty nailed on for a top 4 spot, Can't see Catalan winning enough on the road to get past Saints and Wigan.
I would imagine Warrington will turn them over in a couple of weeks putting some separation between them and Catalan.

| The cats are good enough but it will depend not only depend on their away form but on the likes of HKR, Hull FC, Widnes, Cas & Salford who will upset a few of the top 4 in the run in, 8 points diference from 3rd to 11th an awfull lot to play for in the next 5 or 6 weeks.

| Wigan don't play like that every week. And neither do Catalans.
And what bewareshadows said.

| I dont see us making it. We have had too bad a start I think.
For every drubbing of a Wigan at home there has been a dire performance like Wigan away.
Some consistency and a run to the play offs would do me nicely.

| Need to win away to make the top 4. Could also do with being in the top 4 after the 23 Round split and therefore have 4 home/3 away games to finish the season. Again it would require them to win at least one (if not two) of their remaining 4 away games to make that.

The only way that Les Cats will be successful in any shape or form is if they play ALL 23 matches a Perpignan, on their performance against an understrength and underperforming Cas they were truly poor.
If you think that a DANIEL Brough dependant Hudds. are a push over think again bro'.

We have won 1 away game in 10 months, are 3rd and got to the Grand Final last year so it can be done.

That's a bit misleading though because you are covering two seasons with that away form.
In 2014 you reached the Grand Final having lost your last few away games but you still picked up a healthy 13 points from a possible 26 away from home over the course of the season. So far you 3 points from a possible 14. Even if you win all your remaining games you'll only reach 11 and that is unlikely with away games vs Saints, Hudds and Wire to come. You got a job on to get better than 7 points in total from all your away games before the split.

| I wouldn't even be parting with any money for them to make the 8 just yet. Let alone the 4.
By the end of the week they will most likely find themselves behind Cas and Widnes, and one of the Hull teams will be a point behind with a game in hand (FC's is against Wakefield). There's nothing for them at Warrington either, whereas Widnes play Hull and Cas play KR, so at least 2 of their rivals will make ground on them. Then they play Hull at home, if they lose (unlikely I admit) they are pretty much doomed.

The worrying thing for me is that I actually think you believe this.
