| Do you really think Stevie Ward will be in or is it a case of your just a fan of the team he plays for and him personally and he's playing well ??
I've no idea as it depends on which of the top teams are playing well at the time but Alex Walmsley should be a Shoe in ...and in my opinion i wouldnt have Westwood or O'loughlin in.

| O'Loughlin has done nothing this year apart from recover from injury, if players are picked on form then he won't even be a water carrier

I do think Ward is in with a shout. He's been excellent for Leeds this season and would add a bit of pace to the backrow. Having said that, I'm sure there'll be other contenders for a bench backrow spot by the end of the season. But I think with that side I've picked some speed is needed in the forwards.

| You can't really leave Hardaker out. There are no real standout 6's (at the moment - Sutcliffe does look good though) so Tomkins to stand off is probably the way to go.
I reckon O'Loughlin has one good Test series left in him. It depends on his form as he returns and how far into the play-offs Wigan get.

| O'Loughlin and Westwood's international time is limited but there aren't many stand out performers ready to take their place off the top of my head. I think Stevie Ward should be in on his performances this year and can see him in the squad for the next 10 years.

| Ward will be a top back rower in the years to come. His position is decided on now, he is over his injuries and getting bigger all the time and his performances so far this year have been impressive.I would have him in the squad this series if he keeps it going, probably not a starter but if he did i think he would hold his own

| Ward is one of a few younger back rowers in SL that should be coming under serious consideration though. Clear the likes of Ablett and Farrell from recent squads shouldn't be the answer, Ferres was great in the 2013 WC but not really hit the heights since and will be tough for him with his injury lay off. Add to it the very real possibility of O'Loughlin being a doubt with injury then we probably should include one or two new young backrowers whoever they are with the view that they'll be nicely experienced at this level by the next WC.

| Don't see the enthusiasm for Jack Reed. Always looked pretty ordinary to me. He's not going to worry any defenders.

| Walmsley should definitely be in there, assuming that McNamara has seen him play, or even heard of him.
